City Guides

There are several cities I tend to revisit, and over the years I've come to make a list of favorites - restaurants, shops, museums, etc. It's always changing, and I'm always looking for new places to check out and explore, but here are some that are near and dear to my heart.

Portland

Portland's proximity to Seattle makes it an easy weekend trip, but its vibrant food scene and laid-back vibe are the real attraction. Come hungry, and if you can figure out a way to cram in several dinners in a day, do it.

Vancouver BC

Another easy city to spend a long weekend, Vancouver feels so familiar, yet so foreign. Such an international city,  but with a quintessential Northwest vibe, it's an urban landscape with nature just outside your door.

San Francisco

I love San Francisco (I also love that it's only a 2 hour flight from us, with no time changes). We're fortunate to have friends to stay with who love having visitors, so we try to make our way down at least once a year.
